It is 12:39 on a Sat. night and I'm up here at Bradley's work. Bradley had to come into work around 5:00 and has been here all night. I went to my parents and stayed till 9:30 and then thought i would come up here and keep him company. Needless to say, I did not think I would be up here till 12. Come to find out he has to come back up here in the morning. Absolutely crazy!!! What was I thinking wanting to keep him company. I could have sat my lazy tail on the couch all night and watched all my recorded TV shows on the DVR. At least I got a free meal from my parents tonight. My mom jokes and says that she babysits me on the nights that Bradley's busy. Bradley has now become an old fart. I cant believe I just said that word:1 Anyways, he has joined a bowling league with a bunch of guys in our old Sunday School class. So on Tuesday nights I go visit my parents. I have to say that I actually enjoy my parents company now. I would have never said that 10-15 years ago. I'm ready to go to bed
Well I am doing much better I think since the last few posts. I started physical therapy about 2 months and it is kicking my tail. At first I cried and cried and said I was never going back and then the exercises got easier. Now it is time to step it up and move onto phase 2. Phase 2 is where I start learning how to bend forwards and backwards again and do exercises that absolutely kill me. It is amazing how much your body withers away when you dont do anything. The therapist actually said for every day I was down it was like 7 days of recovery time. Alright it is time for me to go so I will finish this later. Night all!!!

2 posts!!!
With all of that being said below, I apologize if I have offended anyone who has a space with a "friend list!!" On a lighter note, I thought I would fill you in one what's going on. Did I mention I was moving classrooms and grades? I am now going to teach Kindergarten and can't wait. Without further adue let me tell you about our house. We have had a time with what I call the plagues. We have had a problem with ants in our house, black widows outside of our house, mice when we were building and now a few nights ago baby spiders in my bathroom. A few nights ago, I noticed a trail of baby spiders on the wall so what do most women do, they call their husbands to come and take care of the pesty problem. I need to remind you that it was around 10:15 p.m and I tried to be brave and not take my pain medicine several hours before. I was crying and hurting at this time and then noticed the trail. Bradley walks in and starts inspecting the spiders....thats when I did the same. We then noticed they were everywhere in my bathtub, on the shower door, on the ceiling, on the walls....little trails everywhere!!! I lost it!!!! I boohooed I was hurting, tired of the ant problem, and now was afraid spiders were gonna get me. My wonderful husband instead of laughing at me, drew me in, hugged me, and said it's gonna be alright. He took care of everything. He kept tellling me to go to bed and not worry but I had to be there as a backup incase the baby spiders went after him. He sprayed the spiders and all there happy little trails and vacummed them up. He is the best when it comes to an exterminator!!! I thought I would show you a picture of the black widows outside of our house.
A group of us went to 6 Flags a week before my surgery. This is only part of the groups. We had a total of 12 people. I worked with 3 of the ladies and the rest we all knew from Start Baptist Church. Actually everyone knew each other from church minus us and the Martins. Anyway's it was alot of fun and we all got along so well. This isn't the best picture by the way, I look like I have a double chin and I was sweating my butt off. I know I am thin but I have lost 10lbs due to the surgery. My dad thinks I'm skin and bones, but believe me it's not a lack of trying. No lie, we get ice cream almost every night.

I thought this next picture was just cute of Bradley and I!!! It was taken at Rainforest Cafe when we were at 6 Flags. I think he is wonderful and just flat out adorable!! Since we don't have any kids yet, pictures of us are all we have. Sorry bout that:)

Not understanding?
Okay so here it is, I am not understanding the whole myspace.com? I was currently on Mrs. Elly's blog and tried to look up a few people and got the same response. You go to look at a someones website and you get a message that you have to be "added as a friend." I don't know if I want to be added as a friend. Why you ask? Cause the way Shandra put it " I am a blog stalker" I LOVE to read up on people but rarely like to leave a message. I haven't talk to some of these people in years....not that I wouldn't want to talk to them now, it's just been so long that I would be afraid they wouldn't remember me. If they remembered, I wouldn't know what to say besides the routine questions. I do not mean this in a mean way. I guess what it all boils down to is that I am a nosy person and love to catch up on people and look at pictures!! With this being said this whole converation does not revolve only around college/BSU friends.
To make a long story short, have a friend who went through some rough times with the ex-wife and me being the nosy one wanted to read what she has to say. Therefore I am not on her "friend list" but want to be secretly. Why have a space if only certain people can see it? If it is a privacy issue then this whole myspace, blogspot, xanga, facebook and whatever else craze is pointless. I did it to catch up on people and vice versa not select who I would & would not let in my club. I may be treading on thin ice here or maybe it is a secret jealous issue because I want to be added as a "friend" but not really be a "friend" to this person in particular. I better shut my nosy mouth...you never know who is reading this:)

Doing Better!!
Im gonna try and make this short. I am doing much better compared to the first week and hospital stay. I actually am still on pain medicine and cannot drive yet. It has been a month since the surgery and each day seems to get better. I still have bad days here and there but the good days out weight them. Let me tell you I am definitely glad to be home. We had a time in the hospital. I was in there for more days than they originally told me. I also had a few other issues come up that they being the doctors said would likely not happen. Bradley did a wonderful job of keeping everyone informed. He also has been amazing through all of this. He is the BEST supporter and has done a fantastic job of taking care of me. This sounds kinda cheesy, but I love him so much more and in a deeper way than before. There were definitely things that no husband should ever have to do that he did and he did them with a caring nurturing attitude. He truly is the BEST and I Love Him So Much for that!!!!!
I have learned a few things from all of this, the first being I don't like IV's (many things can happen with an IV and a lot of the time nurses tend not to believe the pt.) this is just my observation. Second thing is I worried way to much about the catheter....lol it's the next best thing to sliced bread, when you gotta go and you can't, you will do anything it takes for it to happen. Enough said about that one!!! Lastly but not finally, I can see where people get hooked on pain medicine. I definitely am not "hooked" but I don't know if it's in my head or what but it makes everything (Pain, aches, and spasms) feel a lot better. I could go on and on with things I have learned and likes/dislikes about all of this. Let me just tell you that after all of this, I am sure giving birth will be a piece of cake...who knows maybe I will even try to do it naturally!!!! LOL just kidding Epidural here I come!!!
Anyways, I am doing much better. I still walk pretty slow but atleast I don't need my walker anymore. LOL If school started tomorrow, I would definitely say I still need time to recoup but hopefully in the next month all will be much better and I will be getting back to normal. I get a little scared just thinking about all the stuff I have to do for this school year and my energy level now and right now they don't match up. I feel lazy with sitting in a chair and laying in bed a majority of the day but it is the only thing that makes my back feel better. Believe me I would much rather be out running the roads than sitting inside with aches and spasms. Maybe later for all the curious folks out there I will post a picture of the scar. It is pretty long much longer than the dr. Originally told Bradley and my family after the surgery. It actually looks good...it is not bloody or gross looking nor does it have any stitches on the outside. The stitches are inside and I was glued up on the outside so it looks pretty good. I just have to get over the long scar that will be with me for the rest of my life. Again thank you for all the prayers and concerns. God is Good and continues to heal me each day. He truly has been my Rock and the One I look to for comfort!!!! God is amazing and I am so thankful to be one of HIS!!!!
