A Taggin, here we come!
Okay so we have been tagged by our wonderful friends Austin and soon to be Ashley Perry. Tagged sounds so funny! I don't even know if I can answer some of these questions that they have asked. One question in particular is sad for me cause it shows how far away we have gotten from hymns. Don't get me wrong I love hymns, but I have gotten more use to contemporary songs on a projector. I can name 4 songs but I don't know if I could honestly say these are my favorite without whipping out the old baptist hymnal. Anyways here we go with some of the questions and you will know exactly whose response is whose when you read them! Oh yeah and on some of them we couldn't think of 4 so we put what we wanted. For the record some of my husbands answers in no way reflect me or the life we live!!!!!
Four favorite television shows: ESPN, 24, Dukes of Hazzard, and um Playstation, Grey's Anatomy, Extreme Home Makeover, Desperate Housewives, Lost, 24, Las Vegas, Trading Spouses, Oprah, I could keep on going with this one.
Four recent books I have read (and finished)!: We don't read!! I guess I could include Reader's Digest and Southern Living. I finally finished Jan.'s Reader's Digest , only a few more months to catch up.
Four cities I would like to return to (for vacation): Kauai, Hawaii (both of us) Chicago, Gunnison, CO (both of us) , Boston, New York, Lake Tahoe,
Four dream jobs: Pro golfer, Pro Nintendo player, PBR, Self employed, staying at home, owning my own bakery, ice cream tester, Rachael Ray's job, or I would like to be the girl on the Travel channel who gets to go all over the world staying at nice hotels and eating at fabulous places.
Four cities I would like to visit for the first time (for vacation): anywhere in Italy, Sydney, Hollywood, anywhere in Georgia, Seattle, Venice, Green Bay, Wisconsin, Rexford, Montana
Four favorite Garth Brooks songs: Rodeo, Lonesome Dove, The Dance, What She's Doing Now, That Summer, The Dance as well, Callin Baton Rouge, and I don't think I can name another one
Four favorite Beatles songs: Can't buy me Love, Yellow Submarine, Oh La Di, Oh La Day oh Life goes on (however that goes), Hey Jude, Yesterday, They call me mellow yellow (Ha, I don't even know if they sing that song) We can't think of many more at 11:15....Bradley says ask him some more Garth Brooks songs, or you can ask me George Strait and I can give ya a few
Four favorite sports teams: Astros, Saints, Astros (only cause of Bradley), Astros, Astros, U.S.A.
Four scariest animals: Sharks, Bad Men, Snakes, T Rex, Blue whale, wooly mammoth, Teradactyl, Boogie Man
Four websites I view often: Fox Sports, Banc Corp South, Weather.com, Sports Illistrated's Truth and Rumors, Hotmail, blogs, blogs, and more blogs
Four foods I love: Shrimp, corn, sushi, zucchini, mashed potatoes, beef, cereal, sexual chocolate
Four of my favorite works of art: My body, mountains, love, Afros, the sunrise, babies(or children),
We will have to finish this at another time. This takes forever when Bradley is playing Playstation. I don't have his attention for anything.

House Pictures
Spring Break is AWESOME!!! I love to stay home and do things around the house and errands (though I haven't done much of this lately cause of a thing called moola)
We are getting a little closer to having our whole house painted. We finally got our columns painted and I'm a little unsure what to think about em. Our shutters got painted just not hung up yet, this is all the major painting on the outside we have to do. Well I say this, our doormers have to be painted as well another color cause the first coat didn't match. We are moving on up, slowly but surely!! This is alot of work. I'm sure people drive past our house and say "white trash" cause things havent improved much since we first moved in. We have NO time!! I'm serious. Bradley doesn't get home till 8 on Mon. Wed. and Fri and then has basketball games on Thursday night. Busy, Busy, Busy I tell ya! Oh well, I guess we will have to look like "white trash" a little longer. Oh yeah and did I mention that I have about 10 pots, including a few trees that need to be planted, this is also one of the things that makes our house look trashy. They are all gathered up near our garage. Oh yeah and did I mention that we need garage doors but are looking at about $3,000 for that to happen. I tell you building a house costs and the job never ends, you are the only one who can fix it not your landlord or your daddy!:) Anyways, I thought some of you would like to see a few pictures of our almost finished house!! One view is from the front of the house and the other view is from the side of our front porch. Remember there is still work that needs to be done and we will have shutters up, I'll have to post pics when that get checked off of our list.

Oops I forgot to add this!

And for the final pictures, I thought you would all like to see what I wake up to in the morning. I have never been a big sunset/sun rise kind of girl, probably cause I have lived in the middle of a city with lights all around me, but boy is it ever beautiful. Every time I see the sunrise I get a little misty eyed just in awe of how AWESOME GOD is and how small I really am! Also I think, how could people not know how real God is and how could you not believe that he is our Creator? God continues to show His glory and power to me in the simplest of things! I also would have never guessed that I would own such country creatures, but alas as you can see this is what is in my backyard. Well not exactly in my backyard but probably 30 yards away. A little to close for me but hey when it brings in several hundred dollars a year I really can't complain. Oh yeah, and did I mention that I got to see my first calf being born. That was a sight to see. Actually, this story has to be for another night cause it would make some of you a little squeamish. Oh my gosh, I'm starting to sound like a back woods country girl, anyways here are my cows behind my house

A little bit of everything
Okay so I have finally gotten pictures of my furniture on the computer. All I have to do now is wait a good hour for it to download onto this site. Oh well, here it goes!

I thought since I was downloading other pictures I would just go all out and let you see some more. Bradley and I decided to make our own sushi Friday night. It was good, but we didn't get through with it til a little after 9. At this point I was not that hungry anymore and would have rather just spent the $20.00 to have it made for me. I was told "practice makes perfect." Again it wasn't bad but it wasn't the best either. If anyone has any sushi tips for me, pass them along. I do have to say that I give Bradley and A + for presentation. He did such a great job making it look pretty for the camera. I'm not quite sure why he took a picture, but then again that's what makes him so special!! Oh yeah, and look at the wasabi...doesn't it look nasty. It tasted that way too. Here was the problem, we are so used to eating lite soy sauce with a pastey wasabi that this fake liquid wasabi did not do the trick. The sushi convention tried to come up with a cheap alternative. None the less, I will never give up and would definitly make sushi again.
Just thought some of you might want to know that Bradley is beefing up. I am so proud of him for sticking to a structured plan such as this. He has started a weight lifting regimen and I have started and try each day to walk a little over a mile. The ladies I work with all try to walk sometime throughout the day. Usually it's only about 4 of us at one time and then the other half will go at another time during the day. Today I didn't walk with the other teachers. Well, I did walk but I actually walked 2 miles....close to a mile with Brooke Martin and her precious girl Abbey and then the rest of it by myself. I think I'm doing so good and then the 5 boxes of Girl Scout cookies in my pantry start calling my name. Stinking cookies are going to be the death of me. Does anyone like Samoas as much as I do. It is a good thing I have the weight genes from my momma cause I have already downed 2 boxes by myself. No lie....all by myself!!!

Another speedy weekend
Why do weekends fly by so fast? It honestly feels like I just left school a few hours ago for my weekend, only to return back to school to start a brand new week. It just doesn't make sense! People often say they would get bored if they stayed home everyday, well I'm here to tell you not me! That is my dream job, to stay home and take care of our kids. Just thought I would throw that comment in there and let you know how I feel about weekends that fly by. Speaking of this, I had a wonderful visit with some old college friends this weekend. We drove over to Dallas for lil Sawyer's baby shower. It was a very short trip and we are exhausted but it was so good to see some familiar faces that I haven't seen in years. I did alot of catching up with people and makes me realize how I wish I would have spent more time with some people back in the college days. Going to a baby shower and then seeing Eli makes me even more excited when the time comes for Bradley and I to have a child. I know I have already talked about this but, boy I cannot wait!!! Oh yeah, did I mention that I am going back to Dallas next weekend for my Ashley's wedding shower and then going to Plano on Thursday and Good Friday. That's alot of traveling to TX that we are doing but hey it is all for good reasons!:)
