Baby Parker

The wait is over for all my 3 readers! We went to the dr. Monday and found out for sure what "it" is. Bradley and I actually knew at 14 weeks but we were a little timid on telling people. Thought that you might want to see for yourself and we are always open for future names.

It is somwhat long & may take awhile to download but kinda fun to watch...says the mom of the lil alien:)

Not so much fun!

I am not going to be good at this whole "how far along are you" game. It seems to change each time I go to the dr. and it's just gotten easier to say "Oh I'm somewhere between x weeks and y weeks!"I have one thing to discuss and then I will stop. Who said pregnancy was and is fun? Some friends of mine keep telling me that it will get better but I feel like there is not an end in sight. I am talking about the nausea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have tried the whole Saltines as EVERYONE has told me and to no avail it really doesn't work....I have even tried them at 1:45 in the morning!! The nausea I should say hits me about 4 out of the 7 days and then leaves me feeling like crap the other 3.  This might not be bad to some but I am a horrible thrower upper!! LOL So if anyone has anymore suggestions...I'm all ears!!!!! Ok Im done, on to better things.

Supposedly I am 13 wks and 6 days and have had about 5 ultrasounds...can't beat that. From what I hear most women don't even get an ultrasound until about now or sometimes even later. It is truly amazing to see the difference in each ultrasound....how can ppl not call that a baby? I have a friend who is a rad tech at a local hospital and they were needing a lady in her 1st trimester for an accrediation on an ultrasound machine. Guess who that lucky lady got to be? Yep..it was me!! Well I just so happened to be what I thought was in my 1st tri, but found out I am almost 2 weeks into my 2nd trimester. Anyways, Bradley did not want to come with me on this visit b/c we had just seen my real dr the previous week and had an ultrasound done also. That visit was supposed to be where we heard the heart beat but didn't get to b/c the dr. held the machine in one spot for about what seemed like 3 min. and then said " I can't find the heartbeat, you don't mind having another ultrasound, do you?" So, I went to this friend and had another free ultrasound. This ultrasound machine was awesome and looked brand new. I got to hear the heartbeat with a click of a button and am about 95% sure I know the sex of our baby. I'm not going to spoil it until I know for sure. I immediately called Bradley and told him he missed the best visit ever and went on to brag about the heartbeat and so forth. You could tell he was a little bummed.

I think I'm starting to show a little too early, does anyone remember showing at 14 weeks? Im at that stage where I just look plump not pregnant. A few ppl point out that I look pregnant but what I really find funny is that my family
tells me that my boobs have
gotten bigger. Thanks family, knew I could count on you guys!! Just thought I would throw that in there. I will have to post later when I really have something to talk about. As of right now I'm just rambling and that's my que to go to bed. Oh yeah, and the whole being tired is just starting to hit me....never did I notice it during the early weeks of pregnancy. I even went to bed at 8 pm the other night, and boy did I feel better the next day. I think my body is all confused about what, when , and how things are supposed to happen.

Story of 3 Parkers

I know I always say this but...it has been a long time since I posted last. Bradley and I have been traveling alot these past few months. I tried to post alot of pictures of our trips but our internet is slow and and it would have taken me forever.

Our first trip was to the Beverly Hills/Los Angeles/Hollywood area. We had a blast and saw a lot of touristy things. We went to see a Dodgers game, Hollywood sign, Kodak Theatre, Stars Walk of Fame, Getti Villa (I didn't know much about this...this is one stop Bradley wanted to make), Rodeo Drive and alot more. We also ate at some retty cool places. We ate at the Dresden Room for any people who like the movie "Swingers" and we ate at this Japanese place that over looked the entire city. That was an incredible site. Oh yeah and we went to see the Tonight Show with Jay Leno..even got a few pics of him leaving out of the studio. And for any "Bachelor" fans we got to see Jesse Palmer. He actually was staying in the same hotel we were...along with some NFL commentator that Bradley was pretty pumped to see!! We had a great time and I would most definetly go back.

Our next trip took us to Las Vegas. Bradley had a work conference over there and I decided I could go for a reasonable price. WRONG!!!! I for some reason had to have certain types of food and do things I normally wouldnt ever do. I bet I had soft pretzels and a piece of cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory everyday. Our highlight of the trip...especially for Bradley was getting to meet Pete Rose. We took a few pictures with him and he signed a ball for us. This was one place I think I got my fill of. I cant imagine bringing my kids there. I have heard that there are a ton of things to do in Vegas but Bradley and I couldnt figure out what else there was to do besides gamble. We wanted to see some shows but the cheapest tickets were like $85 and they were in the nose bleed. So we mostly walked around looking at all the different casinos. Like I said before, this isnt the vacation spot I would take my kids unless we absolutely have to!!

Ok let me tell you why I named the title of this post "3 Parker's." Bradley and I found out that we are going to have a baby!! It has actually been a big mess and a bit frightful. According to the way dr's and nurses figure the timeline of your pregnancy isnt the way my body figures timeline of our pregnancy. According to the nurse I was 61/2 weeks along when I went in the first time. They did an ultrasound and the Dr. told me one of 2 things...either I was alot early than I thought I was or the baby stopped growing. He was really leaning towards the miscarriage cause he kept telling me how long it would take for me to pass it:( Anyways so he then made me come back in a few days and check my hormone levels. They were at 2300 and the nurse told me they needed to double. Well God is good and prayers work....my levels quadrupled to 8300. He then told me by the blood work that I was 3 to 4 weeks pregnant and just earlier than we had thought. So he did another ultrasound and we got to finally see what they call "a fetal pole" which is the very beginning of the baby. He told me everything looked so much better than last time and that things started getting bigger. Keep in mind that this is the appointment Bradley finally got to come to and towards the beginning before the ultrasound the Dr. was talking to Bradley about it being a miscarriage.

To make a long story short, I went back in yesterday and got to see a heartbeat and a fun little lima bean shape. He also gave me an est. due date around March 14th and told me I was almost 8weeks pregnant...actually he said 7weeks +/- 4, 5, or 6 days. LOL. Bradley and I feel so much better to hear and see the good news. God is truly good and this whole experience has taught me that it's all in His hands and not about what Bradley and I want but what He wants and HE plans!!!!!!!

Long time no post!

It is so easy to let time fly by and realize you havent posted anything new in a few months. Not much has happend since the last post. Right now Bradley is in Honduras. He will be coming home tomorrow night. I cannot wait!!! It gets very lonely without the other person. I was soemwhat excited to be by myself for the 1st few days...cause I could catch up on all my favorite t.v shows. About Wednesday I started to get a lil miserable. That's when the tears started flowing again. He has been in Honduras since last Sat. with a group from our church. The group they went with was an organization called XMA (Extreme Missions Association) Anyways I finally got to talk to him last night. This has been the hardest thing. I have not gotten to speak to him since the day he left. Anyways he is coming home TOMORROW!!!!!!! HIP HIP HOORAY!!!!!!:)

Other than that I am on spring break also. So my days have been filled with t.v. and visiting my sister in Texarkana. My sister is growing up and beautiful as always. She has turned into quite a young woman. She is all mature and handling th e world real nicely. I miss her greatly and cant wait for her to move back here soon. I have run out of things to say. It seems like everyone I know has abandoned blogging and gone to myspace where you can make everything private. I still dont like this. I dont like asking if I can be added as a friend. I know its probably safe this way but it stinks!! Just thought I would through my opinion out there for whoever still reads this. I will have to post again when I can think of more stuff to talk about!!
