Wow time has flown by! So much has happened but not much has happened...or at least nothing worthy of blogging about. All of our time is devoted to Abram so as usual this is all I have to blog about. Abram is getting so big and my time is flying by with him. He is almost 8 1/2 mo. old and doing new things every day. No teeth yet nor are we crawling. I will say this though, he sure can scoot around and resembles a wet little snake in the bath tub with the way he slithers back and forth on his tummy! I feel like he should be doing some stuff already but I know our time is coming and I am not going to compare at all. All I will say is we have the best baby in the world. He is so good and rarely cries. He is such a momma's boy too and I'm loving it!!
On to other news. Abram celebrated his 1st Halloween. I purchased an outfit off of Ebay but then we changed our mind. This is the costume he was going to wear.
Yep, he was going to be a Junior Mint. * Outfits look bigger hanging from a bed** Bradley and I decided that he couldnt be a Jr. Mint cause of some things we have been going through.
Things we have been going through...Abram is now having to wear a helmet to correct his "flat head". The helmet will reshape his skull. We noticed a pretty good size knot on one side of his head when he was little and had it checked. CAT Scan came back great but pediatrician mentioned that he had plagiocephaly and this is why he has a knot. Anyways we watched it for a few months and then the dr told us we needed to see a dr in Shreveport. The dr. in Shreveport uses a company based out of Dallas. So Bradley and I have had to go to Dallas for the past few weekends. Hopefully, we will only have to come to Dallas every 3 weeks instead of 1- 2 weeks like most other ppl that live near the area.
So without further a do...here is Abram in his "new" Halloween outfit.
We went to a friend of mine who I teach with for Halloween. Many of you know Brad and Brooke Martin. I absolutely love Brooke and my job would be boring without her. She is so funny and always keeps me laughing.
This is Brooke's little girl. I loved her costume. She came up with it all by herself. A. was so happy to wear it , she just couldn't bend over/down very well to get the candy.
The 1st night with the helmet was awful but now it does not seem to bother him. He has to wear it for 23 hrs a day and hopefully will only have to wear it for 3 or 4 months. I thought he was so stinkin cute before now I think he is adorable.
I will leave you with a few of my favorite bath time pics!
